I have a question when you look at the specs for .243 100 grain Partition it says type of bullet AccuBond!
However when you look at the the 85 grain Partition it says bullet type Partition. My question is which type of billet is the 100 Grain that says Partition, but specs say it’s Accbond. I really want to try the Partition. I also saw the Federal sells a .243 100 grain that I believe it partitioned. I might be wrong but it sells for a significant lower price?
Thanks

the Partition and AccuBond are two different bullets . I've linked to the descriptions below . there is no 100 grain AccuBond in .243 diameter . what comes to my mind as another bullet that is built like a Partition is the swift "A" frame bullet . both the A frame and the Partition bullets have the copper jacket divider , separating the front core from the rear core . the AccuBond has a plastic tip , and is a bonded bullet , no jacket Partition in this bullet . here is a cutaway of the swift A frame , the Partition is built very similar . if I had to pick one bullet to do all my hunting , it would be the Nosler Partition . hope this helps .

swift A frame .

Jimbires showed you the different types of bullets, two Nosler and one Swift.

I'm don't understand what you're looking at when you say you look at the 100 gr Partition but the specs say it's AccuBond... Are you looking at some Nosler source, or something else?

BTW, both the Partition and the AccuBond are great hunting bullets, but yes, it's nice to know which one you're getting when ya buy 'em. :)

*Oh, Federal sells a good line of ammo called "Fusion" which is less expensive than most but has a really good bullet. Perhaps that's what you're looking at? I'm just guessing.

And, welcome to the Nosler Reloading forum!
