While I usually reload, I saw where Nosler had a sale on the Nosler Defense .308 168 over-run ammunition. The price was $18/box/20 and I thought it too good a price to pass up. I noticed the twist recommendation is a 1/10.

Why the need for a 10 twist when the bullet is shorter than a 168 Ballistic Tip?

Has anyone shot any of this ammunition and how did it perform on game? It looks like would be be decent elk medicine for a .308.

Nosler should remember those of us with non-AR carbines too!

I would really like to see some of the bsb's for the other calibers:

100-115 gr in .257
120-140 gr in .264
140-154 gr in .284
210-230 gr in .338
225 gr in .358
240-265 gr in .410
200-235 gr in .375

For those that would like to use these in leverguns with tubular magazines, the tip needs to be flattened a little more.

The BSB would make an interesting product line. Don't know that it can find a niche that the AccuBond hasn't already filled, however. Still, I'd take a hard look... Just 'cause.

Every pic of a bsb that I have seen it looks like a recovered Swift A-frame.... big old chunky lead Mushroom on the end of a shank and almost 100% weight retention. So if you're a member of the "a frame" or trophy bonded Club these could be your answer!

When I find some 168's I plan on giving them a whirl.

A 220-225 .358 would make me ecstatic in my 350 Rem Mag.
