I Own the above stated rifle in 280AI. I purchaced this rifle some time ago. This rifle is withought a doubt my most accurate hunting rifle. This rifle will shoot just about anything from 139-162gr handloaded bullets. It has never seen a factory load. All loads I have tried are under an inch at 100yds. My best load to date is as follows;
Hornady 280 Rem. brass,fireformed
Hornady 162 ELDX
W-W large rifle primer
62gr IMR 7828 ssc ( this load averages 2980Fps) from my garmin over a string of 10 shots.
Best 3 shot group to date
.241 at 100yds
This load on my bad days still averages under .5 groups
