Trying to work up a new load for my 7mm rem mag. I'm going to be using the nosler accubonds 168 gr long range. The powder I will be using is imr 7977. It is fairly new powder so I can't find a lot of load data. Does anyone out there have any data for this combination?

No data, Ryan. The bullet and powder are new enough that this particular combination isn't readily found, yet. Nevertheless, welcome aboard. Glad to see you looking. That particular bullet should be excellent in the 7RM.

I'd start with 160 data for the 7, work up slowly and I believe you'd be safe. They have less bearing surface than a AccuBond or Partition.

Welcome aboard.

7mm Rem mag

Hodgdon lists the following for a 162gr HDY SPBT bullet & IMR7977.

64.0gr - 2,702 ft/sec ............ 69.5c - 2,955 ft/sec @ 59,300 PSI

That should get you pretty close.
