Another year and another whitetail buck killed by a Nosler Bullet. This year I switched from 130 grain Balistic Tips to Partitions in my .270 Winchester. I was able to get groups slightly under 1" at 100 yards and 3,165 fps out of my Sako 75 Hunter. I shot this buck a little forward of his heart at 70 yards and he dropped on the spot. Bullet passed straight through and created an exit hole twice as big as the entrance hole. I have killed many whitetail and a black bear with Nosler Bullets and never recovered a bullet. I guess I will have to admire the antlers and rug and look at pictures of recovered bullets in the Nosler Reloading Manuals!

I agree with Pop; NOSLERS ROCK!

Like I said buddy.

The standard which all premium bullets are measured against.

+1

The 130 gr PT is the "classic" bullet for the 270 Win. and you can eat almost up to the bullet hole.

I loaded 140 Accubonds in the son-in-law's 270 Rem Mt rifle. His buck decided to give it up in his tracks. Never moved a step. But I dont think you can beat the Partitions either and I have had excellent results with them in the accuracy dept also.
