Is Nosler handgun brass in 45 acp good quality? Do you know how it would compare to Starline or Sig brass? Thanks in advance.

The subject of Nosler brass seems to garner mixed reviews as of late.

check out this thread...

In my recent experience I received brass that ranged .020 in OAL

Thats not good but mostly annoying in a rifle.

Pistol....and I'm assuming you're using a crimp...a varying OAL is worthless.

If you plan on trimming all of the new brass right out the box then I say go for it.

If you hope to load right out the box I'd suggest a different brand.
Until some buyers of Nosler brass in the present can show it being consistent I'd shy away especially in pistol cartridges.

Good luck

Depends on what you're using it for. If you have a match chamber in the pistol it doesn't matter much if the OAL of the brass different from piece to piece. I want mine to be .89"-.90" and anything undergoes (.88") into the practice can anything under that goes into the recycle box. Pistol brass will loose OAL with each reloading since the crimp die will trim it for you.
