Yes, basically, as is the Remington version of the Bronze Point.

Pretty much. I used to shoot the Solid Base bullets and was a little peeved 20+ years ago when Nosler replaced 'em with the new-fangled Ballistic Tip. The SB's shot well, the B-Tips shoot better as a general rule. A year or two ago Nosler had a big sale on Solid Base bullets and I stocked up on a mess of 'em in .30 cal and 6mm. They still shoot well! :grin: Typically a little slower expansion than a ballistic tip and good accuracy.
