An Ibex hunt is at the top of my "hunt of a lifetime" list. Both the animal and the terrain they inhabit look like they'd be tons of fun to hunt. Congratulations!
I too would enjoy any other details that you would care to share.
The Rifle is a Snowy Mountain Custom, lilja 3 groove barrel
T11 for 150,165gr.-jewell trigger, custom muzzlebreak,
The stock didnt had time...... its a Remy plastic stock,
glassbeded, seems it worked hihi, the stock of the rifle
is a hightech which will be pillar bedded and floated.
The rifle was grouping about 2" at 200mts, not too bad, will
change it as soon as he arrives.
Ammo.- Also didnt had the time.- Combined Tech 168gr, with
a Max dose or imr4350, worked good.
The next trip of my friend and his rifle blue sheep in Nepal.
As soon as my friend arrives will publish the hunt.
Kygyzstan, is a long way from where you live, but I guess that there are no Ibex anywhere near here anyway. Tell us more about the hunt and congratulations on being successful.
