my broughton barrel finaly came after 11 months, uncle sam will tomorrow deposit 5G's in my checking account, SSG is ready to do the build, Joel russo will take that hunk of walnut and make it a copy of an A-5 oh will be chambered 338 Edge

When do you expect to get her home?

The new Nosler 338 300 gr AB with a .720+ BC should make for a nice hard hitting load.

have no idea, the stock must be cut, then shipped to ssg for fitting pillars and glass, hopefully by early fall 2012, but I learned along time ago not to plan on using a rifle till ya see it by the porch. my 1 mile whitetail rifle is soon to be a reality.

Dang... A few years ago I was almost there.

Had the Russo A5 laminated stock. Had the .300 RUM Rem 700 donor action. Had the Leupold. Was only lacking the .338" Krieger... Even had a box of 500 .338" bullets! Then I sold it all.

Yours however is going to be a GREAT rifle! Am very much looking forward to seeing the finished project. Especially set right next to a big trophy buck or bull, taken from afar!
