Hold on, Scotty. Winchester may bring back a 280 and introduce a 35 Whelen. If so, it will be an answer to the dreams of many a rifleman.

That would be pretty cool. I know it would make for a great pair of rifles for alot of hunters/shooters. I am hopeful they release a Whelen. Ruger and Remington did decent it seems with theirs, I can only hope that Wiinchester would knock it out of the park.

I shall be getting one of those myself. Been waiting for a stainless 375 H&H to come out again. Foolishly kicking myself in the ass for letting my classic stainless one go with a McMillan stock on it.

If so, Mike, if I were ever inclined to start using a two rifle battery (man, that was hard to type) that might fit the bill. Maybe add a .243 or .257 (since they will never offer a 6mm from the SC factory) for vermin and predators and such.

I concur. Just spent the morning loading some 225 AB's for the Whelen Gerry. Looking forward to getting out with them and seeing what they do in my rifle. I have pretty high hopes for them. If they shoot anything like the TSX's, Speer Hot Cor's and PT's shoot, I should be able to find something useful.

That would be one awesome load Mike. I would have tried them by now, but I fear they won't stabilize in my 1-16 gun. I feel lucky enough the 250's shoot well
