Hi People, I have been out of commission for a little while now and have not been out and about. This is more for the people north of the 49th. I am wondering if we have had any break on powders or bullets yet?

Blessings,
Dan

No change that I've noted, Dan. Get yourself back in commission so you can shovel snow this winter.

Dan,
For whatever reason you are out of commission I pray that it is for reasons of your desire.

Vince I had to have a 7 bypass :(!! I was 3 weeks ago yesterday!! I am coming along but it is sure taking longer than I thought it would.

Blessings,
Dan

Yes, I recall mention of that but didn't recall that it was 7.
I'm just thankful you are still vertical, no pun intended.
Use this as an occasion to rehab the heck out of yourself and follow doctor's orders. There's a reason you're still vertical and none of us know his plan for you.

Hey Dan I'm glad you are on the mend even if it is going slower than you hoped. Here's a couple of places I check out for components that you might find interesting.

http://www.x-reload.com/

http://store.prophetriver.com/

We have some components in our town but they charge very high prices here which is probably why they are still in stock. I bought another box of 358 - 200 gr AB so now have several years supply with what I had. I have resisted buying any 358 - 250 gr PT's at $85 per box though

My BIL had that surgery a few years ago, doing fine now. Good luck on your recovery and good luck finding components. Yikes, $85 a box.

I know, they are hard to find right now so I may need to pick up those 250's to feed my Norma.....

They run real well outta the Newton Gerry.

I have been looking for the 250 gr, AccuBond, .366 diameter bullets for nearly a year now. In that time , I have managed to buy (2) boxes of (50)!

Dan,

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope you are on your feet and back at it in short order.
I go under the knife in two weeks to repair a torn rotator cuff and labrum.

Dan,

I wish you all the best for your recovery and hope that you are back at it soon. I know 180 NP's are hard to find for me right now where I live.

gerry, I am hoping to do a little outside recovery work . I will check the 3 or 4 sources I have around here. $85.00 for 250gr. NPs in 358cal is crazy . I hope that I can find some cheaper!!
Guys thank you for your thoughts & prayers I really consider each one of you FAMILY !

Blessings,
Dan

Hey Dan I just ordered 2 boxes of the Speer 250 gr Hot Cor's from Prophet River for a much more reasonable $28.99 per box. Going to experiment in the 358 Norma some more with those before buying the PT's here at least it will give me an idea of which powders to focus on. Going to try them in the Whelen some more too. I'll be bringing a pair of 35's next year to the Peace ;)

That is cool gerry, I know that you will be able to work up a great load with those speers!!
I will keep a eye open for some PTs if they are a good price I will give you a heads up!!

Blessings,
Dan
