Anyone know the procedure to calibrate a PACT powder scale? I just got one at a price I could not refuse but it don't have an instruction manual with it. It works great, in that it powers up and talks to the powder dispenser. However, I don't know how to calibrate/zero the scale. It has 2 weights with it. A 20 gram and a 50 gram.

I don't own a PACT but if it is anything like the RCBS, this may help. Turn on your scale/dispenser and let it "warm up" for 10 minutes or so. (I leave mine on 24/7). Next remove the pan. Push calibrate. Push it again and it should read "0.00". Push calibrate again and if it comes up "20" or "50", put that checkweight on and press calibrate. Once it registers, put on the other checkweight and push calibrate. Once it reads "70.0", remove the checkweights and it should read "0.00", if so, add your scale and make a mental note of the weight for future reference. Press the "Zero" button and you are good to go. Hopefully this makes some kind of sense and will work for your machine.
