I just made the switch to BT's from Partitions. 180 gr. Partitions just weren't holding groups in my .300 WM Browning A-Bolt with a BOSS. The 165 gr partitions drive tacks in my Rem 700 BDL .300 WM. so that is fine. I switched to BT's today and shot some wonderful groups including this 3/8" 3 shot group at 100 YDS. thanks for the advice yesterday.
not sure how to add picture???

First you'll need a place to "host" or hold your picture(s). There are some places on the web that do so for free.

http://www.hunt101.com/

http://www.imagestation.com/

Once you've mastered uploading your picture(s) you move to step 2.

View your picture on your web browser and then capture the web address using the "Copy" feature found on the Edit option on the toolbar on your browser. (I swear... I'm typing real slow just right now!!)

Step 3 is to make your post here just like normal but when you want to add the picture select the little "Img" label located just above your post before and after the pictures web addy

Save your post and you're set..

I really like the BT's and have found them to be really accurate with my 7mm rem mag

its not my best group with these, but it not to bad

Out of curiosity, why did you make the switch to ballistic tips as opposed to the newer AccuBond? It would seem that if you wanted better accuracy, but Partition like performance, this would have been the natural choice.

You might want to try the 160 gr AB with RL22 in your 7mm RM.
This is an awesome combo for most anything you would want to hunt.

I honestly didn't know about the AccuBond bullets until after I had bought a box of BT's at Bass Pro Shop. which is now the last place I will purchase reloading supplies now since their selection was really poor and the have no plans of making it better. I found out about the AB's on this website after I returned home. Bass Pro shop was a 70 mi round trip for me and that ticked me off.

300 Win Mag 180 Gr BT's. Outstanding!

Next year I will try the Accubonds.
