POP will undoubtedly provide some excellent data as soon as he is able to post. In the interim, I can tell you that I am having great success in my current iteration of the 280 with the following loads.

54 grains IMR4350, Nosler 150 grain PT, R9.5 primer

57.5 grains H4831, Nosler 140 grain AB, R9.5 primer

54 grains H100V, Nosler 140 grain PT, R9.5 primer

59 grains VN165, Nosler 140 grain BT, F210M primer

55.7 grains VN165, Hornady 162 A-Max, WLR primer

56.6 grains H4831, Hornady 154 grain SP, WLR primer

51 grains H414, 139 grain Hornady 139 grain BTSP, R9.5 primer

49.8 grains RL15, 120 grain Hornady SP, F210M primer

57 grains RL19, 140 grain BST, F210 primer

All give good velocities and sub MOA groups. None are "hot" in my rifle.

What a great calibre the 280 is.

Thanks everybody I just wanted to play around with my wifes. DrMike I might try the 150s. The 140 are the best so far they shoot .266 @ 100 yards with 57 grs of RL19 and I still can't belive it I just wanted to look at the 120 bt.

Great calibre. If you are getting that sort of groups with 140 BT, that is what I would keep on shooting. I believe the 280 is one of the most underrated calibres available to shooters today. It works.

Moneys a little tight right now and don't wont to shoot up all my 140s so I'v got two boxs of the 120s to shoot now.

I had been using a 120bt load for fouling shots at the range when I decided to shoot a few I was pleasntly suprised with !/2 " groups.
