Oregon has never been known as a white tail state but the population continues to expand in the northeast quarter. ODFW has incorporated many late season hunts to help control the expanding population. Buddy of mine took advantage of one of those tags yesterday. We came up with a green score of 160 but we're not pros at measuring.
As much as I would like to go shooting with Guy, I really need him to teach me how to take a photograph.

That is quite the headgear! The crowned brow tines are very interesting. Beautiful animal.

That is a dandy White Tail buck. Congratulations to the hunter.

That is a fine WT buck for sure! I have that Muzzle stuffer tag this year and haven't had much luck finding the time to get out. Passed on a few small ones, but nothing to get me excited yet.

A good friend of mine got a nice one with his Hawkins, not that big, but a dang nice 140 class buck.

White tails are pretty adaptable, once they arrive. They have made it into Utah, too.

I'm not sure you guys had enough gun! 300 Bee at 100 yards! No field dressing required!

Excellent buck Don.
Congratulations!

Congratulation on a fine buck anywhere ! Neat seeing split brow tines on a Whitetail.
Thank you for the post.

Blessings,
Dan

Since Rodell commented, surprising how little damage in particular given the relatively poor bullet placement. Granted the300 Beeis more than enough gun.
