Price difference??

Hello Nosler.. Just a question. Why is the loaded ammo for the 257 Weatherby more than the 300 Weatherby? I would think the bigger cartridge would be more expensive than the smaller one using less powder etc? :?

We had a supply of 300 Wby brass in stock before the big price increase from the manufactures in Sept. Should be back to normal by the Jan 1. Since the cases are all pretty much the same amount of material, most of the Wby ammunition will be near the same price.

Also it depends a bunch on the powder we use. Obviously powders like Viht are more expensive than IMR.
