Primer comparison

I believe I read somewhere, thought it was on this site that someone did a primer comparison with loads, has anyone saw this? Fed 210M's are all but nonexistent here in ND, made a trip to MN a few weeks back and checked several sporting stores on the way and could not find any. Been shooting WLR's alot in there place but thought there may be some other good choices that some one may have used with goood results. Thanks, Tim

I do recall seeing that post. Try doing a search to find it. Should be in the Reloading section.

My understanding on the 210 primer issue is that Federal is supplying the goverment with 205 primers. This is causing a capacity problem and Federal isn't making any 210's so they can meet the current 205 demands.

smitty81, no this is not what I was looking for, ( it was posted quite some time back) the 1 had in mind was actually someone had did a shooting comparison of all the primers with a load, showed all the specs with shooting. I'll keep looking, now that I got started with this my frustration at not being able to find it makes me all the more determined to find it. Thanks, Tim

badland, there is a manual devoted to the 30/06 by Stan Watson and I think it is called A Reloaders Odessy. It covers primers/brass/bullets/etc. Even though it covers only the 30/06 and does not provide pages full of various loads, it is very educational and worth the price. Another good manual that does give a lot of loads and information is "Pet Loads" by Ken Waters.Rick.
