Double_d - have you used the 100 gr TSX?
I did for a few years before returning to Nosler bullets, and I have to admit that I was impressed.
3340 fps from my .25-06, with book loads (H4350) and easily sub MOA accuracy...
It was absolutely, flipping awesome on mule deer. Penetration was superb. However, one case, I wasn't sure if the bullet actually expanded... So I'd also urge trying the tipped version, the TTSX, if you're bound and determined to use a Barnes bullet.
