Looking for quick load data please for Savage model 110 30-06 w/ 22" barrel 1:10 twist
Deer and feral hogs in south Louisiana less than 200 yard shots
I think I am going to try Barnes 110 gr TTSX (model 30362) with 3.330" COL (.050" distance off lands) in my Savage
I've already compared data between Barnes, Hornady, Hodgdon, Sierra, Nosler and Lyman all in 110 gr bullet
I've also documented literally dozens of different powders in Gordan's Reloading Tool and am curious of comparisions from QL to GRL
I am trying to pick the best 1,2,3 selections of powder and am unsure how easy this is implemented in QL
After crunching the numbers in GRL I'd say the best powder for my setup would be Benchmark, VV N135 and VV N133 in that order
Definitely seems like the powder burn rate will be close to those 3 powders
We all want tight groups, yes; it's the most important topic for me
I feel that 100% powder must burn, load density to be ~ 90-104% in the 50KSI to 60KSI pressure range (in the 30-06), velocity will be what it is
It may just be a personal selection but I am trying to stay with stick extruded powders for all of my R&D/reloading projects
I am open to all suggestions or recommendations
