In California the need for bullets without lead is becoming a real issue. The lunatic fringe environmentalists have latched on to the fact that California Condors may be dieing of lead poison from eating the bullet from deer and pig carcasses. Some hunting ranches and some huntable military camps have already passed bans on lead bullets (Public Relation Stunts?) and the California Dept of Fish abd Game (an organization managed by liberals appointed by our last bleeding heart liberal Governor who was recalled early in his 2nd term), is holding hearings (shams) which means they will indeed outlaw lead bullets. Currently, very expensive Barnes bullets are available made of copper. Will Nosler be offering their new unleaded bullets for reloading in the near future? Will need these soon in order to perform load development before the deer season. I can start using the Barnes if I have to but I'm a real fan of Nosler bullets.
