@ 2.860" there's barely enough in the neck to hold it (.163"). 2.800-2.830 might be better!
 
53.1 @ 109.7% fill, 3,651 fps at max pressure w/64,745psi. 50.1 @ 103.5% fill 3,419fps w/52,700psi. Based on 54.4 case volume and 52.489 usable.

TexasLife, I don't what you are measuring, when seat to 2.860 I have .266 from the base of the bullet to the mouth of the case.
 
I ran my 6mm Rem with the 70 Nosler BT’s and it was like a laser. The irony for me was that is shoots the 95 and 100 grain projectiles more accurately, the opposite of what brought the cartridge down originally. If only Remington had put the right twist on their barrels originally, a mighty fine cartridge wouldn’t be obsolete.
 
Very True but remember the 90gr that Remington used was designed deer and such and in truth there wasn't much difference that bullet and the 100gr in the 243. I have always used the 75HP's and 100gr Spitz's in the 6mms of mine and I have always got better accuracy than I get with my 243's.
