I'm sure he will find a good load in there with H-1000. The 7828 load could of just been me too. I totally forgot about shooting VV165 in it.

My buddy shot a elk with 200gr BT's out of my other 338 Baer but that is the most action either has seen on game. I always shot the bigger calibers until the last 7-8 years and now I shoot baby stuff in comparison. :mrgreen:

Velocity notes:
87 gr H1000 col 3.65 = 2853fps
87 gr H1000 col 3.75 = 2954fps
3.77 with 250 Partition touches lands.
88 gr H1000 col 3.65 = 2916
89 gr H1000 col 3.65 = 2950
No accuracy results as the scope is still at Leupold. No pressure signs. How does this data affect the node information?

I liked working with the H1000. Standard deviation ran between 7 and 9, that should help. Didn't have to worry about the 20 degree weather. I'd load five rounds, wait for a commercial then go out on the deck and shoot. Didn't miss any of the Sea Hawks.

H1000 is AWESOME in my 7mm Mashburn Super. Low SDs and just accurate as heck.
