Could someone pleases provide a quickload data for the Nosler 140 NBT and the 150 NBT using Alliant RL-17.

Thanks,

You didn't specify a barrel length so I used 24"
You want to firm it up a little get chrono readings from 6 or 8 and case capacity, that'll let us dial it in a little.
Remember without dialing it in it's an educated guess.

Thanks for the help!

At least I have a good starting point.

Wish Nosler had the powder listed in their load data.

By the way, it is a 24" barrel.

Regards,

I use RL-17 in my wife's 284 with the 168 ABLR. It shoots very well! I think you'll be pleased with it.

Where are you guys getting your .284 brass? I cannot seem to find any, ANYWHERE!

Got a starving Savage 99F to feed you see.

Thanks -

Dale

I had the same problem, finally had to break down and buy some 6.5-284 brass and neck it up.

YUP!

I surrendered and purchased the 6.5x284 Nosler brass and re-sized them to 284 WIN.

Could not stand it anymore....OUT!

Dang.

I sure don't want to have to do that. Has anyone petitioned for at least a limited run? Hornady for example has been doing all sorts of oddballs. I think there are enough .284's out there that a limited run would be money in the bank for whoever would tool up to do it.

Guess I will go see what kind of 6.5x284 I can find.

Thanks -

Dale
