Seems to be a dearth of load data for 30-40 Krag with 168 grain bullets. Earlier Dr Mike gave me some for a limited number of powders. I used up the Norma 203 old and the W 760 from that, those loads weren't particularly spectacular, so thought I might try some others. I have had good accuracy with Reloder 19 and 220 grain bullets in the past, but want to use the bullets and powders I have on hand.
Looking for data for at least some of these powders
Reloder 16, 17, 22
Varget, H335, Retumbo
A1680, 2460 and 2520
IMR 4350, 4895 (these I find in my Nosler Manuals, but would be nice to compare in QL with the others.)
Modern Break Action Handi Rifle in 30-40 Krag ( so pressure at SAAMI should be fine), 22 inch barrel, 168 grain Nosler Custom Competition/Ballistic tip bullets.
Also, for those looking for Krag brass, I just bought some house brand from Graff and Sons. They look to be a little more consistent in weight than the WIN I had before.
