Has anyone tried Ram Shot Magnum powder with 150 grain Nosler BT'S in a 7mm Rem. Mag?I'm thinking about trying some from my supplier when they get some in stock for my 7 Mag. Never have used this powder before and I would need a little help on this. Have a good day.

I use a fair amount of Ramshot powder in a variety of cartridges. Magnum is my least favourite, but it does work well in some applications. In the application you name (150 grain BT in 7mm RM), I'd likely first look at N560, IMR 7828, RL22, RL25 or Retumbo first. Magnum will work; but I would anticipate better case fill and likely better accuracy with these particular powders.

I am with Fotis and Mike on this, RL22 and RL25 are pretty sweet in the 7mm Rem Mag with the 140's up to the 175's.

I would have thought Magnum would have been better in the 7RM, but I haven't cranked nearly as many rounds out as the Doc has.

But, if you have some, give it a whirl, I would be interested in your results..
