I recently received a 14" 35 Remington barrel for my Thompson Contender.
Some 100 yard results with 200 Grain Hornady RN and H4895.
1st pic is without a crimp
2nd pic is with a substantial crimp with a Lee factory crimp die.

1st attempt with 167 grain Nosler E-tip and a starting load of Varget.
Fired out of a Ruger 308 Predator which is still looking for a load it likes. 1st shot is at the top of the square in the black.
Very mild recoil and brass looks like it will take a little higher dose of powder.

The 35 Rem crimped looks pretty good. I loaded about the same for a buddies TC. They smack deer pretty danged hard.

That 167 looks like it'll take a little shortening and come right together.
