Well today went okay. Shot the 338-06AI the 280AI and the 22-250. I tried another COAL change in the 338 no real difference. The 280AI with 168s was looking really good until I pulled the 3rd so I'll have to reshoot that. And I was getting nervous about the 22-250 as I missed a varmint the other day badly 4 times in a row at 125-150 yards and shot 88 rounds out of it in a day. So it got shot more or less to check POI. It got adjusted slightly and found out the barrel is still in good shape. Made an adjustment to tune it in. Then 2-4 went into .098" then #5 got blown off just a bit by a gust.

Oh getting there. The 338 has been a fight. It's finally taking shape. The 280AI shoots really well just trying to get these 168's to do something special like the 160's do. The 22-250 just digests anything into little groups. It's really gonna be the pits when I got to replace the barrel in a year or two.

It can be so frustrating when a gun gives you trouble, others come together quickly for some reason. Sounds like your 280 AI and 22-250 are keepers not to mention that sweet shooting 9.3x62......

Yeah the 9.3 is still waiting for parts to complete it. It's in a shoot able form just not finished. So I'm trying not to monkey with it too much. Some of my other rifles feel lonely. Especially this time of year.
