Range day 8.1.17---WOW

Okay, guys, you're not going to believe this. Shot the Win 1873 44-40 win. These groups were made by 23.5 grains of reloader 7 and 24 grains of reloader 7 which is the tighter group. Velocity for the tighter group were 1173 1173 and 1171 with a Hornady 200 grain xtp. 100 yds away from a bench, open sights

I re shot both loads at 25 yards. 24gr of RL7 is on top

Also first time I shot the CZ 22 hornet
40 gr semi pointed Sierra with LILGUN. Only 2775 fps but pretty good for 4 shots

The 44-40 with iron sights shoots better than my 1894 44 Mag with a 3x scope!

Fotis....you got great eyes for an old fart!
I just got the cataracts fixed in my sixty-year-old eyes and now have 20/20 Vision And I'm hoping to do what you just did...lol!
My summertime favorite sport is Golf and before I got my eyes fixed I could hit the golf ball out of sight....but that wasnt saying much! Hoping for better groups this fall even with scopes with the new eyeballs!
