Well, it's been a while since I've been able to go out shooting or check in at my favorite forum. These past few months have been extremely busy for me. Finally tied the knot with the fiancé, relocated and got settled in to new jobs and welcomed in our first addition to our family! Not a human, but a German Shepard, meet Teddi! Been a great dog, and you can't beat a Shepards wit and protectiveness. I was able to sneak out for a short range day yesterday. Shot the .308 with 168TSX and .300 with 215 Hybrids. Both performed with boring regularity. .308 shot 3 shot clover leafs while the .300 shot a 0.660" group with a 1/2 grain load reduction, that clocked in at 2,988 with an SD of 9.3fps per the magneto. Had to turn in all my tags last year to ensure job security, (damn oil field) but looking forward to bull and bear season this year!!

Sounds as if congratulations are due all around. Good looking dog, by the way. And the rifle isn't bad, either! For sure, the rifles are performing very well. It is always good to have some time pulling the trigger.

Glad to see your back up & at it . I wished I could be so bored to shoot those tiny little groups.
Thank you for that range report.
The oil & gas has changed the dynamics for all the young people here in Saskatchewan as well. My cousin's boy was laid off this past week after 15 years he was a superintendent. Derek advised that he is not going to complain as he got a super severance package and will be able to spend some quality time with his wife & young son as being gone for 14 day stretches does take its toll.
The pup looks like he is rearing to go, we sure hope you are able to touch base here at the forum more often (y).

Blessings,
Dan

Nice shooting buddy! That 300 of yours is wicked!

Great looking dog and congrats on getting married! Glad everything is going well. Happy to see you back around. Don't be a danged stranger.

Nice shooting and a nice rifle. How can you not like a face like that? That pup is a cute one.

Man all I can say is shooting a gun like that at 100 yards is kind of like taking your 450 horsepower Corvette to church...lol!

That gun is screaming don't bother shooting me less than 500 yards.... that's a beauty!

You mean there are people who don't drive their Vette's to church? Astounding! Those are fine results that are posted, to be sure. (y)
