Took my new to me Steyr Pro Hunter in 300WM out for some initial load testing and very impressed.

180gr BT
79grs H1000

200gr SGK
77.5grs H1000

Ran the 200gr SGK with 77.5grs H1000 over the chrono. Pretty respectable.

30 years ago I was getting great results from that good old Sierra SPBT Gameking, from my 300 Win mag.

It's a good bullet for that cartridge. I was using IMR 7828 then.

Was also happy with the 180 gr Nosler Partition over IMR 4350, but that 200 gr bullet really seemed to work well with the .300 magnum. You're getting some great results.

200 SGK load looks good. I got to give it a try someday for my 300 Winny but I love the way it spits those 180 Accubonds so I'll stick with them.
