...or getting on paper...

... NIB Browning A-Bolt Long Range Hunter/ 6.5 Creedmore, 1:8 26" barrel/ Leupold VX-2 6X18 AO...

...out of the box, fit & finish/ Very Good, the matte finish is probably best described as "Robust", no rough edges, tooling marks, molding marks, etc. Trigger was a relatively heavy 4.5#, easily adjusted down to 2.5#, no travel, no creep, just plain "Crisp". Slapped on the scope, stopped @ the gravel pit on the way down the mountain, set out a 25yd. target, bore sighted the rifle. A few rounds to make sure it was "on paper" w/ some 140gr. A-Max factory loads...

...moved the target out to 100yds., a little more adjustment...

...the "Final Four" (up top)...

...I think w/ a little better rest than the BullBag off the hood of the rig, & a few less "snot sickles" (took the temp. as I was leaving)...

...she's ready to go to the 200yd. line...

NICE! Great report buddy! That looks like it is going to be a FUN rifle!

I'd say it is performing very well for you. Congratulations!

Looking good. That rig is going to be fun.
The 6.5 Creedmore is a cool round.

Looking good Gene. I'd imagine you're going to be able to dial that rifle in nicely. I try to keep my attention away from the .260Rem/Creedmore/-06 cartridges as they seem to want to distract me away from projects with more seniority on my "want list".

Always made me wonder why I don't see more Brownings at the range or in the woods. I don't recall one that didn't shoot well.

Looks like good accuracy, just like every Browning I have owned sans one.

Do barrels ever shoot poorly because they are too cold? This could open up a whole new area of discussion and experimentation! Elmer Fudd hat required!

Cold barrels or not, Fudd hats are required no matter your location or temperature!

...waitin' on Scotty to post a pic w/ his new Stormy Kromer!!!

I hunted all day Saturday with it. It is now a constant rider on the dash of the truck! I love the hat!

Good eye Mike. Didn't notice right off!

I'm loading up 140 grain CCs for mine. Its a great shooter and the 11 lb rifle doesn't hardly recoil at all.

...managed to sneak the 6.5 CM out to 200yds. before the wind picked up...
