I have loaded 300+ rounds with my new toy and I love it. It has been exact every time ...Awesome! That's not what I'm writing about though. Please tell me there is someone else out there that has dumped powder all over the counter because they forgot to close the drain before adding a new powder.I am ashamed at how many times this has happened but I also enjoy laughing at myself.

Buying a Chargemaster was one of the best purchases if not the best purchase of all my reloading equip. I have had mine for about 3 yrs. now without a glitch!!

I had one for a while, and I forgot to close the drain several times during the time I used it. I finally got in the habit of checking it before dumping powder in the hopper. It's not as catastrophic as leaving the plug out when you launch a boat (ask me how I know about this), fortunately enough, but it is just as easy to do if not more so.

Mine was not perfect, it would dump a few extra tenths of a grain now and then but I could see why it was happening and it did not lessen my appreciation of what a great accessory it was. I just decided I had too much money tied up in it that could be better spent on components that I might someday not be able to get, so I sold it.

If I loaded lots and lots of extruded powder, I'd get another one but I just don't load so many rounds that use H4831SC and Re15. I use a lot of Benchmark, but it seems to meter well enough so I really don't need the Chargemaster.

Love mine, would not be without it. And, yes I have forgot to close the drain, once!
