22x47 lapua and 300 norma reamers finally showed hopefully i will have them both functional in a month which as you know is lightspeed in the custom build market. fingers crossed.

That's awesome buddy. That 22-47 will be interesting. Would that drop between a 22-250 and a swift? I'm done with 22 cals for a while as the 22-250 I got is pretty outstanding. But when I burn the throat out might do something different.

NICE! Pretty excited to see what you do with them both Jeff. Gotta say, that 300 Norma looks like a screamer! What barrel do you have made up for it?

I already know the 22x47 will be a beast! That thing should be sweet with some heavier .22 bullets.

ti does fall in between them but the 47 can run at a higher pressure. I Will be using a 75-80 grain bullet and should be able to run one at 3300 pretty easy.

I have a kreiger 5r for it in a heavy variant .950 @ 30 inches u Will cut it back to 25" been reading that you can run that case at 24" and still get good velocity out of it, I Will be running a suppressor on it so that Will help. Will be using a 230g Berger hybrid and should be able to get 2900 out of it.

Man, that 230 Berger at 2900 should really make you just about untouchable Jeff. That is some serious combination right there. I can't wait to see your load work and stuff. Hopefully I will get a chance to eyeball it in a few months.

Jeff,

Congrats. You are going to have two awesome rigs.

Thanks I am sure they Will work just dandy. I am also running the 6.5f284 and the 300 Norma off of the same a5 stock the 300 win and 338 lapua magazine Will work in the same bottom metal. this does two things 1saves a bit of money and 2 keeps the platform the same for familiarity purposes. actions and recoil lugs are the same dimensions so it should work out as far as bedding goes.

Give Scott and Brian the 300 to shoot...I'll shoot the 22X47

Looking forward to seeing them when I come out in October.

I think that 300 Norma should be a blast. Jeff makes his guns heavy enough to need a T&E, so it can't be too bad!

That should be quite a pair of precision rifles.

Looking forward to seeing them!
