You have the makings of some excellent loads there, your 358 load is outstanding. Good luck on your hunt.

It looks like the 225s are going to be where I stay with the 358Win. That leaves me with over 350 bullets of 250gr sitting on my shelf. What chambering would work well with 250gr bullets?? Hmmmmm.......

Uh Oh, you had better sell them before a new gun shows up  like a 35 Whelen or 358 Norma or something

An acquaintance of mine guided in the Alaskan panhandle with a 358Norma. He says he never felt under-gunned.

I've had my sights set on a Whelen since I could read.

Yeah, that is reason enough for a Whelen right there! 250's at 2600 from the Whelen makes for an awesome elk rifle. I almost feeling like I'm cheating on my Whelen this year. The 338 Doesn't do much the Whelen can't, that is for sure.

I've had most of those bullets before I bought the 358Win! And dies, brass... LOL

Damn donor shot too good and haven't had the opportunity to sacrifice it yet. Someday.

It does appear to pattern groups with two good and one bad (not really bad groups). First thing to check of course is the scope mounts and rings. This pattern normally results from a bedding issue in the barrel channel. Good luck in finding the problem and I hope that it is not serious.
