Reloader 17 and 7mm-08

Anyone shoot r17 in a 7-08? Or have QL data for 120 bt and 139 SST. Would it be a good powder for the 7-08? I have a buddy who swears by it in his 300wsm. What's the pros and cons on this stuff, I'm hearing it's temperature sensitive. What's your thoughts?

Good case fill and reasonable velocities. It would work quite well with these loads.

I use RL17 with Berger 140 VLD hunting bullets in a 7-08 . this rifle has a 24" bbl . the last five shots through my chrony 3077, 3077 , 3080 , 3077, 3081 . I have not noticed temp sensitivity , but I keep reading about it . RL22 has a bad reputation for this so I think it's just being pinned on all the reloader series powders . when reloading components get easier to buy I'll try RL17 in my other 7-08 with a 139 BTHP , to see if I can increase the velocity without loosing the accuracy . I think you will like it , I do .

RL17 works excellent in my son's 7x57 Mauser with 140 AB's. That load is running about 2940 and real accurate. Seems fairly gentle as well.

I used (rl17)it at someone elses suggestion with the 150 ablr with great results. I also really like rl19. I've shot a bunch of sst and other hornady bullets, they are ok but I switched to AccuBond 140 and never looked back. Remington 700 bdl with no alterations in 7mm08
