...............Yes! In some over-bored cartridges, barrel life can be reduced. However, using a hi-tech powder like RL 17 for max loadings in the NON over-bored cartridges, imo, will not, or have little to no affect in over all barrel life, even though the velocity is increased.270wsm":iqtrg6c4 said:Doesn't higher velocity wear your barrel out faster?
