I am new to this calber, but have done a fair amount of research on it. I have seen numerous statements saying not to use any weight bullet above 115 grains or so, because it takes up too much room in the case. All of these statements have come from those shooting AR-15's and bolt rifles. These guns have set maxes on COAL. Well, the thing is, I can seat bullets out much further because I am loading for a single shot pistol. I am wondering if anyone else has tried this, and if I am wasting my time? Do the benefits of a heavier bullet still get drowned out by the loss in velocity? :?

I would stick with lighter bullets just for the velocity and proper bullet expansion.

Sent you a pm about where to get some good information.
