It does look handy in the dark timber, Brian. I like its looks.

Thanks! It is a handy rifle even if it is kinda on the heavy side.

The weight helps it point readily. A little weight ensures that it comes naturally to the shoulder.

That extra barrel weight also makes it better (for me at least) for shots at running game. The muzzle-biased balance of either a longer barrel or a heavy barrel will carry the rifle through the shot, making it easier to follow through on moving shots. That's one of the things I like about that little 350RemMag 673 - it seems to want to keep swinging when I'm following a moving target.

It is the .358 caliber hole in the barrel which seeks game like a laser guided missile Dub...

Well, so far, that rifle's a real deer repellent, Scotty! I carried it several days and just could not get into the deer. Swapped out to my 300'bee and BAM! Two deer in one day!

I didn't mean the rifle could hunt too.. I meant if there had of been a deer in sight, the rifle would almost shoot itself! .358's are pretty eager to please!

Didn't you know, Scotty, 'bees are not only accurate, fast, and hard hitting, but they sniff out game, too...

Brian
I had forgot you had a Tactical hiding in the closet. I am still looking for tha 1/2 load but .I am good enough for hunting now. They are a well balanced, handy rifle.

It has been moved back in the safe over other rigs. Still is a great shooter and gets pulled out on days when I want to practice field positions. That short heavy barrel sure does help to steady up. Varget and RL-15 should be your best bet with bullets 150-168gr. Never did try any 168gr BTs in this one cause the 150 BTs shot so good.
