I pick up a used one of these yesterday, because I always wanted to try an AR-10.

Here is a link to the rifle

Nice rifle overall impressed. It came with a Vortex Viper 4-12 scope. It was bore sighted but not shot with the scope.

Went to the range tonight and after a few shots, was on paper. The only range open was the 100 yd range. I had some 168 gr Nosler bullets on top of Varget. The load I use for my Tikka varmint rifle

The R-25 was able to group decent. Had a string of 4 holes touching at 100 yds with vertical stringing.

Otherwise I was just having fun shooting. Bit more rise with rapid fire than an AR-15, but not too bad.

The rifle has a 20 inch barrel, cycled everything well. Kicked brass about 10 feet away and slightly forward. Did not ding up the brass.

The rifle is heavier than the equivalent AR-15, but not too heavy.

The con is the trigger. I am surprised Remington sells a rifle with such a bad trigger. Any easy fix with a replacement trigger, then the rifle would be a great shooter.

Would be fun to try in a 243.

The rifle is probably not a keeper for me, as my Tikka varmint is just too accurate and easy to shoot. But now I can say, I owned an AR-10.

Cheers
Eric

I've handled them, but haven't shot them. I'm certain that some will be most interested in your assessment.
