Remington SPS vs BDL ETC.

I was looking at a Remington SPS the other day. While I recall reading some favorable comments and one not so favorable, I'm wondering: is the only difference an inexpensive stock and less effort in finishing when comparing a 500.00 Remington to a 1,000.00 Remington.

Your right, the difference is the stock and the finish. I have two SPS' (7mmRUM & 243 WIn) both have received thumb-hole laminate stocks and are very accurate.

I believe that's correct. I don't think there's any difference in the action, trigger, barrel...

Just the metal finish and the type of stock used.
