Retumbo question

Why does Nolser list loads using Retumbo in the 2506 but no in the 3006? Does retumbo burn better in a narrower barrel then a larger diameter one?

Retumbo is used with heavy bullets but its too slow for the 30-06.

25-06 is a little more overbore then the 30-06 which makes it suitable for slower burning powders with heavier bullets.

Retumbo is only useful in the 25 w/115-125g bullets.

You could probly use it in the 30-06 w/200's or 220's.
