Retumbo replacement for 30-378 WEA?

Since Retumbo is unavailable for the foreseeable future, can someone recommend the next best replacement for it using 180 gr Accubonds? IMR 8133?

Maybe Dr Mike would kindly run a 30-378 Wea QL using 180 gr AB, Wea cases, Fed 215 primers??

Please , pretty please?

I am shooting a 26" barrel so you think I might gain 50 fps?

There does appear to be some gain in velocity with the extra two inches.

Ya, but those prices! Yikes!

I see 4 pounds of it, with the bid of $300 now.... Wow!

Over the years friend had two 30-378 Weatherbys. One took 113 grs of Retumbo with 180 AB and gave 3425 FPS with. 26” barrel. It was definitely a hot load as primer pockets got loose after the 3rd or 4th firing. Other gun ( first one barrel was gone after about 600-700 rounds) would only take 111 grs of Retumbo before bolt was stiff and extractor marks. It too was 26” barrel and got 3385-3400 FPS.

I wonder if QL takes Weatherby free bore into consideration?

Anyway I ll bet R33 and possibly Imr8133 would give similar performance.
