I've looked at the limited published data. Wondering if anyone has experience using RL 16 and mid-weight bullets, like 139-140 grainers? Not much info out there. I have a decent load with RL17, but RL16 might be a better match. I've got 139 Hornady and 140 AB's.

No experience with this powder in 7mm-08, but I’ve burned through 2-3lbs of RL16 in my 6.5 CM. Has worked great for me with 120-140 grain bullets. I’m sure it would work great in the 7mm08 also, since they are fairly similar capacities. I’m sure someone on here could run a quick load on here with your bullet choice for you. That’s what I had to do, since load data is kinda hard to find for this powder. You can also email alliant, and they will send you some data.

I've got all Alliant's data. They haven't updated it since the first announcement came out. Quickload anyone? 24" barrel. Nosler Brass. CCI 250's. 139 Hornady flat bottoms and 140 AB's.
