Didn't want to hijack the other post on 270 win but was wondering if anyone has used RL19 in the 270 win? I have in the 30-06 with good results, about same case size but never got around to trying it in the 270. Let me know what your results have been. thanks, Dan.

R19 is my go to powder for the 270 win, we have successfully used it with great accuracy in several different 270 wins.
This has all been with the 140 AccuBond bullet. It has been filling the freezer with whitetail, muleys and elk. I’ve followed Nosler’s data.

Reloader 22 / H4831 in 270 win
IMR 4064 @ 49.5 with 130 Nosler Part

30-06 yes RL 19 / IMR 4350

I’ve used 19 in my 257; 275; 6.5 creedmore; 30/06; 300hh 300wsm; 300wm; 8mm rem mag and 338 Jarrett. For my uses it’s very similar to H4350 providing reasonable accuracy. For one reason or another it is not my current favorite in any rifle but it is sure a close second in several. It is very good in my 300 HH.
I think if you have some you will find it’s a good powder in the 270, certainly worth experimenting with.

Thanks everyone for your impute and comments. Like I said I have used RL19 in the 30-06, similar case and the 6.5x55 which for me does really well. I was kind of keeping it just for that cartridge, but having enough I think I will give it a try in the 270, probably with 130 and 140 gr bullets. One of the joys of reloading is getting to try different combos.
