anyone have and load data for this combo with 120-125 grain bullets? i can't find anything on it.

It's not Reloader 22, but mine shoots awesome with"

45gr of H414
120 NBT
OAL 2.800
Rem Brass
Win Primer

I'm getting 2890fps from a 22" barrel and good groups.

that very load has produced some good groups and velocity for me as well, but 45.0g of H414 is giving me a cratered primer. it really doesn't look like a crater, but more of a sharp ridge around the firing pin indention.

Hornadies # 5 manual has 49.1 gr of R22 listed with their 129 gr SP.
Ken Waters in Handloader, Dec of 1998 used 47 gr of R22 with both the Nosler 120 gr BT and the 129 gr Hornady.

I have used a 46 gr load with a 125 gr Partition and 47gr with the 129 gr Hornady SST, but wasn`t pleased with the result. Velocity was fine but accuracy wasn`t on par with other powders. I haven`t tried it with any 120s, as I`m happy with R19 for this bullet wgt or maybe H4350 in a pinch.

i don't know if its just my luck but, while i have gotten good velocity with RL22 in other rifles, i've never had good accruacy either. this encore has probably been the most difficult rifle to develop good loads for that i've ever owned. out of probably 12-15 different loads i've got 2 that shoot decent. i'll probably try the RL22 just so i can eliminate powder as one i have tried.

Since the .260 Rem is very similar to my 6.5x55, I suggest trying IMR-4350 with the 120 or 125 gr bullets. Sadly, my Swede hates lighter bullets, even the awesome looking 120 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip. It does like those 129 gr bullets that come in red boxes, which really annoys me. I sure hope the 130 gr AccuBond is out soon. I am praying that my Howa in 6.5x55 will take to the AccuBond the way my Super Shadow in .270WSM did.

I have good results in my .260ai using RL22 under 120-123gr bullets. H4350 & RL19 do just a bit better in accuracy in my rifle
