RN bullet reloading

i use the same dies, sometimes I'll stuff tinfoil or tissue paper in the bullet guide if tip of round nose catches. I use same dies in 30-06 and 35 whelen, and 6.5 carcano when loading round nose.

If desired, the die companies will likely make a seating stem for the specific bullet you want to use.

With some handgun cartridges it's not unusual for the die maker to include two seating stems, one for hollow point/soft point bullets and another for wadcutters or semi-wadcutters.

Seating stems are pretty light work for the die companies and they can generally provide a specialized seating stem if you'd like one.

I have an old set of Hornady 357 Mag dies that came with 3 stems. Two have different shape openings and the third one is a solid flat faced stem.
