Rounded out the pre64 battery ( 300H&H)

Pat that is a fine collection of a Model 70s. I am sure that you will really enjoy that 300 H&H. That calibre has so much tradition!!!

Blessings,
Dan

Hey Pat!.

Thanks for sharing your fine collection.
What a great find you have done there. Unfortunatly the Pre-64 Winchesters are extremely rare over here in this part of the World or there would have been a few more in my volt. A pre-war .220Swift, 300H&H or .375H&H is three M70s I would love to have.

Your old M1 Super 90 and my new 257 Lazermark are scopeless still ! Wanted to put an Ultimate slam Leupold on it but after looking at them I changed my mind! What scope did you use on that slugger Pat ?

Terry, I actually had an old Burris 4x that I ran on that shotgun from 2002 up until you bought it. It held up super to the recoil. If I was to do it again, I would opt for a 1-5x. Can't wait to see your results. That shotgun was a tackdriver. My longest shot was 150 yards, and actually I shot once, dropped a doe, shot again, dropped a second doe. Awesome slug gun.

Thanks guys! I really do have a sickness for these rifles, but look at who I am admitting this to.... a bunch of rifle nuts!!!

I really want to get the 243 ready for Antelope in October. I put in for (2) doe tags in Wyoming and I want to try and shoot one with the 270, and one with the 243.

Mike,

I've decided to do the thinking for you.

It's easy buddy go to RMR in Dawson and get yourself a new rifle!! You always say you want a 6.5 to play with. So snag a 264WM in the M70 EW problem sovled

Pat,

That's one heck of a rifle/battery. I'm just happy to have one Pre-64 though not factory original.

That would be a dangerous move for me, Jake. I have one on the go in there now. Plus, I have a 6.5 Creedmoor and a 260 that are begging for attention at the moment.
