A certified rifle crank. I do agree, however, that it is a handsome acquisition.

That is a sweet heart of a 7mm Fotis. Can't beat the cartridge either. Still one of the best there is.

We actually understand that not even an ocean separating you from the greatest place on earth to own a gun could keep you from doing what you usually do. Really nice, looks good.

Fotis,

Very nice #1 buddy. Would make for an awesome antelope rifle. ;)

Nice grab! I hope it knows the new home is temporary, and should not get too fond of the siblings....

That is some very nice wood, and a excellent chambering. But then any chambering in a #1 is excellent!

I'm green with envy. The #1S is my favorite model of #1. Nice catch.
I collect #1's and I've only been able to chase down two in the "S" model, both in .300 Win. mag.
I did see a third one at Cabela's a few yeras back the was so badly beat up about all thet was salvagable would have been the barreled action. :( They were caling it rare and had a sticker price of $1,500 on it. As I as another .300 Win. mag., I passed and laughed like hell. I already have three #1's in .300 Win. Mag. a "B" and the two "S" models. The "B" and one "S" are sub-MOA with the .200 gr. Speer Hot Core and the "B" sub-half inch with the long discontinued Nosler semi-RN 200 gr. bullet. Wish I could find some more. :( The other "S" model is a 200th Year of American Liberty gun and I just haven't shot it yet. I have #1's ranging from .22 Hornet to .416 Rigby. 8)

FOTIS, are you back in the states? I can't wait to see what your tinkering will produce with this #1

Nice to have you back, that is a beauty, I could not bring myself to hunt it. A beautiful piece.
