Ruger 416 RCM Alaskan???

This is somewhat related to a thread I have going in optics, but figured this would be better suited here... I've developed a wild hair for a 375 and/or 416 and have been really leaning towards the RCM cartridges for a host of good and not so good reasons. I'm also heavily leaning towards Ruger. Now as far as the 416 is concerned, I want to keep the option to use the open sights (planning for a low power variable). For those of you that have done DG hunts, would the integral mounts on the Ruger be a cause for concern? I'd assume the rifle can go scoped and if any issue or circumstance presents itself, the scope and rings can be pulled easy enough. I have no immediate plans for any sort of DG hunt, but I figured as long as I'm going to have the rifle for one, it may as well be set up accordingly.

The Ruger rings use hex head screws (3/64's key) which kind of worries me for a 9.3x74R but I put a fair amount of 222 Loctite on them and got about 25 inch pounds of torque. The ring screw is blade screw driver driven and I put about 40-45 inch pounds on it.

I assume that they must hold given that they are hunting DG on Dallas Safari Club every Sunday! The scope is small and should hold. Plus, the most dangerous thing that I would ever hunt is an amorous elk!

I can see no reason why the Ruger scope mounts would be a concern when it comes to strength and durability. I havent tested taking off the scope and then putting it back on to see if it hits in the same spot but have heard they are quite good in this regard. I need to test it out myself one day though.

I believe the Alaskans come with Warne QD rings, if not they are a great option to have. I have swapped scope assemblies around on Rugers with no appreciable change in POI.
