Ruger M77/357

I was thinking it might be kinda fun shooting 180-200 grain cast bullets in it!

That would be fun as a Wyoming blue grouse gun... :p

I would like to get the M77/44mag. Shot one with integral suppressor and 200gr subsonic loads. That thing is so much fun to shoot!

Jim you got me all excited thinking that they made a ".358-375R" like we have been talking about.

One of those in a .44 would be very cool indeed!

Same here! That is what I was thinking as well. Scotty

Intesting, it would be fun to shoot, and I have dies and bullets for the .357mag. It would be a cool little gun for making deer drives. I wonder what kind of groups you would get at 100 yards.

Thanks for posting Jim. First the SR1911, then the Scout rifle, now this. Ruger is making some noise this year!

I have no idea what I'd do with such a thing, but it is probably lots of fun to shoot.

The Ruger interpretation of a Scout Rifle leaves me cold, and at this point another 1911 seems pretty pointless, but this seems like something I might need. Don't know what the heck I'd do with it, although 110s or 125s out of a rifle barrel should scream and make a huge mess of rabbits. It'd be real cool if 88 grain JHPs for a .380 would shoot worth a darn! (I doubt .355 dia. will engrave the rifling very well in a .358 bore.)

I am actually kinda liking their scout rifle concept they just released. I am not running out to buy one right off, but for a good, all around shooting rifle it looks to be pretty well made. Again, I like my lever rifles more, so those kinda win out for the Scout types to me. The Marlin and Winchester Lever Rifles are the original scout rifle. Scotty
